Bob Oettinger

Bob Oettinger has worked in corporate and nonprofit management, fundraising, planning, public relations and promotions for more than 25 years, serving as public relations director for the American Diabetes Association, Southern California Affiliate, and co-director of Motion Picture and Television Fund’s $50 million capital campaign before founding Celebrity Outreach in 1989. Since its inception, Celebrity Outreach has matched more than 300 actors, athletes and other personalities with nonprofit groups and schools across the United States, helping these organizations generate more than $4 million. Oettinger has also served on the boards of Goodwill Industries, the Publicity Club of Los Angeles and the Roar Foundation and was director of the Entertainment Industry Committee of the Los Angeles Partnership for Ethical Charity. He holds a bachelor’s degree in history and master’s degree in public relations from USC.
