IBACA Hosts Hitting Clinics with Reggie Smith
February 2010 - Two hitting clinics and an exhibition game were sponsored by the International Baseball Academy of Central America in February 15-16, 2010. The clinics were run by Reggie Smith, who has worked as a coach, hitting instructor and player development official since retiring from play Major League Baseball. Smith also serves as one of the directors of IBACA.
The hitting clinics for young Nicaraguan baseball hopefuls were held in Managua and La Sombra. Matagalpa Stadium hosted the exhibition game.
